Home Ground Challenge, World-Class Confirmation: Ivan Vuletić

The most challenging stair race in Croatia, Zagrepčanka 512, has been one of the key domestic competitions in towerrunning for years. It is a race that annually gathers the best regional and local athletes and represents an important point in the competitive season.

Successful Performance at Zagrepčanka 512

Among the standout competitors was our ambassador Ivan Vuletić, a Croatian national team member and one of the most promising towerrunners in the world. This year, Ivan dominated Zagrepčanka 512 without any issues, competing in four different race categories and winning in all four, while once again setting a new race record.

Zagrepčanka holds special significance for Ivan, as it is a performance in front of a home audience, with high expectations and clear sports goals. In such an environment, he once again demonstrated why he holds the status of the best Croatian towerrunner.

During the competition, he completed a total of eight ascents, conquering 25 floors per ascent, or 200 floors and 3,920 steps in total, further confirming his level of preparedness and consistency throughout the day.

From Zagreb to the World Stage

Ivan arrived at the start of Zagrepčanka after a very demanding international performance. He recently competed in the Shanghai Tower Towerrunning Challenge, one of the toughest stair races in the world, with 3,398 steps to the top. There, he achieved a new personal best time (20:17), improving his result by 24 seconds, and placed 13th among nearly 4,000 competitors.

Continuity and Clear Direction

This year for Ivan Vuletić means continuity and clear progress.
Zagrepčanka is a reminder of where it all started, and Shanghai is a confirmation of where it is heading.

The direction is clear and leads to the very top.
